Pansport Bridge
The Pansport Bridge is located over the River Lossie near Elgin Cathedral, the 75-meter-long, two-span arch serves as a vital component of Moray Council’s flood alleviation scheme. It features segregated cantilevered pedestrian walkways on either side. The Handrail System safely illuminates these pedestrian zones without using obstructive lighting columns. The assembly utilizes grade 316 stainless steel handrails integrated with specialised F48 handrail luminaires. These systems typically feature asymmetrical orientation to focus crisp, glare-free light downward onto the walking surface, maximizing pedestrian visibility while preventing light pollution from spilling onto the natural river habitat below.
