Biggleswade Rail Station

Accessibility upgrades have been officially opened at Biggleswade to make the station more inclusive and welcoming for all. The dedicated lighting installed along the handrails and ramps directly illuminates the walkways, making paths much easier to navigate during dark mornings or evenings. By focusing light directly downward onto the walking surfaces rather than using harsh overhead floodlights, the design minimizes glare for passengers and they dim the lighting “out of hours” while maintaining safe visibility for commuters.
